Investment in the port of Genoa Voltri Terminal Europe

Genoa – The managing director of VTE (Voltri terminal europa) announced the investment of 40 million euros, at the port of Genoa Voltri Terminal Europe to buy eight cranes that will improve the performance of the terminal VTE. The GRU in question have an arm of 25 row of containers, that will allow to the terminal of Voltri to work with the ships portacontainer more great of the world. This shows “how much PSA, the Singapore port authority and terminal shareholder, believes in the port of Genoa”.
The president of the Harbour Authority of Genoa has declared that the collaboration had in order to overcome the problem of the air cone, that prevented the installation, today allows this investment. The eight new cranes will render this terminal the more competitive in the Mediterranean band, thanks to the possibility to entertain ships from 18 thousand teu and to move the containers with an extraordinary efficiency.
