Cargomar has successfully completed the multimodal transport to Mexico of equipment for the construction of vertical warehouses.

Cargomar has successfully concluded the transportation from Italy to Mexico, to Nova Coahuila, of about 600 20/40 Box and Open Top containers, on behalf of two leading Italian companies in the construction of machinery, shelving, forklifts and automation systems for the construction of vertical self-supporting warehouses. These warehouses today represent the highest expression of Made in Italy engineering and technology available on the world market in terms of vertical storage structures.
We are particularly proud to have been part of the project, which lasted about a year, which led to the creation of a vertical Guinness book of records for its size and scope.
Here are some numbers related to the project:
– Over 600 40 ‘containers shipped in just over a year;
– over 3,500,000.00 Kgs of containerized goods transported to Mexico;
– warehouse capacity 100,000 pallets places distributed in an area of ​​about 22,000 square meters;
– production capacity of the plant when fully operational: 9 million liters of beer per day, 2.9 billion liters of beer per year;
– the group, to which the plant refers, is the world’s largest beer producer and holds approximately 13% of the world market with 155,000 employees.
The work carried out by the Ocean Export Team Cargomar is once again a winner, and allows us to perfectly respect the timing of delivery of the goods in Mexico, and to our customer, to complete the work in full compliance with the contractual deadlines.
